Using Social Bookmarking

I am a new (and very enthusiastic) convert to social bookmarking. At first the concept seems simple: Keep your bookmarks online so that you can access them from any computer just by logging in. Then I really started to see the beauty of this system: Social bookmarks can be shared with others. I can see other websites that teachers like and they can see what I like. It's an easy way to filter through all of the information on the Internet and just weed out the really good sites. Now people have another easy and fast way to communicate across continents.

Gaining some confidence

I have enjoyed having someplace to put my thoughts about technology and our online class. I feel like I'm on top of things now. Any ideas out there about how to integrate this technology into my classroom? (I teach middle school Drama and Choir.)

Am I Blogging Yet?

Hello world.
I suppose if this works I am a blogger. (I never thought I'd be able to say that!)
My husband Jim has run a sucessful blog for years, but he is a networking guy who builds his own computers.
I guess I will just try this out with an open mind and see where it leads me. You never know when you will learn something new after all.
